Board of Directors
Richard Bowers
Richard Bowers is the Founder and CEO of Venture Partners Wealth Management, LLC an independent investment and financial advisory practice. Mr. Bowers is also Managing Partner of Silverwood Partners specialized investment bank that provides M&A, Private Placement, and Advisory services to clients worldwide. Mr. Bowers has considerable experience in private placements with a health care clientele. He is also a 35yr veteran of the retirement services and investment management industry.
Mr. Bowers has an extensive background in institutional and retail equities, with a focus on the healthcare sector. He was president of a Boston based broker dealer, First Dunbar Securities, where he successfully launched an IPO and Private Placements. Prior to First Dunbar, Richard was a Senior Vice President at Putnam Investments for 6 years, responsible for relationship management of institutional retirement plans.
Rob Zielonka
Rob is an experienced supply chain and strategic sourcing professional, with more than 17 years working for various industries, such as aerospace, photonics and industrial tools. He is listed as a co-inventor on two utility patents, and as primary inventor on one design patent. He enjoys giving back to his community, as president and co-founder of two Connecticut nonprofit organizations and co-founder of two Connecticut impact-oriented startups. He brings skills in new product development, creative and strategic thinking, leadership and a collaborative management style to this team.
Thien Nguyen
Community advocate and CT native, Thien's work and focus revolves around relationship building that translates into a flourishing and impactful business community. Through conscious engagement, Thien continues on the work of building lifelong relationships and understanding how that can positively translate into our local business environment long-term. With a background in engineering and manufacturing, the bedrock and focal point of his work in Hartford and Greater Hartford has always centered around community. Specifically, how to better match and build, form with function.Thien utilizes his working experience in non-profit and small business to ultimately promote and execute community accessibility and long-term sustainability initiatives and programming. Conscious, intentional and mindful are the fundamental cornerstones of Thien's approach. Since 2011, his partnerships, community programming, and collaborations have been solidly built on these principal tenets.
Dan Pastore
Dan Pastore is the co-head of the healthcare investment banking team at Silverwood Partners with a focus on raising capital and M&A advisory for early and late stage healthcare companies. He is also the founder of Tamarack Healthcare Strategies, a healthcare reimbursement consulting firm with a focus on developing payor engagement strategies for health care companies. The firm also performs due diligence on payor reimbursement and claims analysis for private equity transactions. Mr. Pastore has worked on a range of consulting engagements and transactions across the healthcare sector including urgent care, dermatology, substance abuse, home health, surgical spine centers, youth rehabilitation and durable medical equipment.
Dan previously worked for 20 years consulting for institutional investors on regulatory, legislative, economic and fundamental analysis across sectors at Potomac Research Group, Stanford Group Company, Schwab Capital Markets, ABN AMRO and Putnam Investments.
